Welcome!

Hi! I'm salazar, and I've decided, mostly as a writing exercise and to feel like I'm part of the wider ttrpg community, to start a blog. I'll be (very inconsistently) posting various stuff I've written on here, sometimes links to works related to contests or jams, sometimes just because I feel like writing it.
What can you expect to find here? Right now, a brief introduction and a play report from my campaign. In the future, other play reports, a variety of homebrew content for DG, like NPCs, tomes and artifacts, as well as the occasional faction write-up or scenario. I will be focusing on Delta Green right now, but I'd also like to do something for Mothership, one of Free League's Year Zero rpgs or one of the RRD Resistance rpgs.

CRYSTAL JACKAL

I'm currently running a modern Program era campaign for Delta Green, which I'm hoping to write up for the mini-campaign jam later this year. I will do play reports for each scenario, as well as a retrospective when it's over and this introduction. Any additional material that gets cut out of the work-in-progress campaign will probably be found on this here blog. 

Taskforce CRYSTAL JACKAL is a Program taskforce of four members, first assembled in 2016. As Agents die and new ones are recruited, expect updates to this post:

-Cosmo Harris: age 33 Army vet, currently employed in Private Security. Resident depressed Cracked Agent, adapted to Violence. Delta Green found him after he was involved in a less than legal (and less than natural) bio-weapons trial and dishonorably discharged. Salt Lake City resident.

-Lee Coker: age 40,  U.S. Marshals Service Senior Inspector (and before that, Missouri State Patrol), stationed at the federal courthouse in Boise, ID. Adapted to Violence, has been involved in a Delta Green operation before. 

-Madeline Evans: age 27, Nurse and drug dealer from Albuquerque, NM. Recruited as "risky asset" after she broke into a Green Box in Albuquerque. Trying to juggle her day job, an operation illegally selling prescription drugs and her involvement with Delta Green.

-Mark Damcott: age 32, CIA Case Officer, now Analyst, in Salt Lake City. Suffers from autoimmune disorders which may or may not have to do with toxic chemicals he was exposed to while trying to flip an asset in Ukraine.

Operation Report - House Of Rain Part 1

Today I finished running the first scenario from the CRYSTAL JACKAL campaign, "House of Rain". I thought it might be nice to put together a play report, mostly because I think writing it up is a good exercise. Operation Report - House Of Rain Part 2

 This is the second part of the play report for my scenario House Of Rain. Again, sorry for the delay in writing it up, some details may be muddled or unclear.  HOUSE OF RAIN PART 2 - CRY ME A RIVER Cottonwood, Utah. June 16 2016. The morning of June 16, Taskforce CRYSTAL JACKAL convene at a local diner, making plans for the coming day. Since their protective equipment requisition won't be fulfilled until later today, they decide to visit the Cottonwood History Museum, whose curator endorsed and recommended McPherson's tours to tourists. The team believes Alyssa McPherson must have contracted the infection when she was at a burial site somewhere in the area, most likely with the intention of desecrating it. The local museum is a decrepit one-floor building, showing some Native American artefacts, a couple unremarkable fossils and a few uncanny wax statues of the Mormon pioneers who founded Cottonwood in 1882.
